Multiple Ingredient Product Policy

Fair Trade USA™ works with a wide array of products, both pure (like tomatoes and spices) and packaged goods that contain multiple ingredients (like chocolate bars and apparel). For that reason, products can qualify for one of several variations of the Fair Trade seal, depending on the percent of Fair Trade ingredient it contains. Our Multiple Ingredients Product Policy helps your business determine which seal your product is eligible to use.

This policy applies to any product in order to use the seal on its packaging. We take misuse seriously, so it’s important to read and understand this policy carefully.
