Resources for Current Fair Trade Partners
Using the Fair Trade Certified™ seal
There are several Fair Trade Certified seal options available for use, and only licensees have permission to use them. Any products or materials that use a Fair Trade Certified seal or language must be approved by your account manager first, including product packaging, marketing or promotional materials, and fair trade impact statements. When designing the seal onto product packaging, depending on the amount of fair trade ingredient in a product, businesses may use one of a few seal options. To find which one your business is eligible to use, it’s best to start with our Multiple Ingredient Product Policy, which can be found on the standards page. If you do not have a license, you can begin the registration process with an online form. Please contact your account manager for assistance.
Seal Use Guide
Before you can download the Fair Trade Certified seal, design it onto your packaging, and put your product on the market, you’ll need to get your design approved. Our Seal Use Guide helps you understand the rules for correct use.
Request the seal
Once you’re ready to incorporate the Fair Trade Certified seal onto your product packaging or promotional materials, you can request them from your account manager.
