Join Fair Trade USA in NYC for its First Pop-Up Shop

Calling conscious shoppers to come through! 

“The Fair Trade Difference” – a three-week marketplace in the NYC Seaport District – gives attendees a chance to come shop, sample, and learn about Fair Trade USA's mission and impact from top Fair Trade Certified™ partner brands under one roof!

We invite curious and conscious shoppers to an immersive experience to see how Fair Trade Certified products can be integrated into their lives. This is a big first for Fair Trade USA and we're excited to bring together multiple brand partners. We hope to see you at the Seaport for our Grand Opening on Thursday, October 10th for tons of freebies. The pop-up will be open daily from October 7th – 31st!

The Fair Trade Difference marketplace will also feature four anchor events highlighting the Fair Trade Difference in coffee, tea, cocoa, sugar, and apparel. We are proud to offer of all of these events free through partnerships with our brands. Be sure to register to reserve your space. Tickets will go fast.

Take a peek inside the life of a Fair Trade Certified coffee farmer in Peru and join in on a Q&A discussion with Death Wish Coffee and Fair Trade USA after. Highly caffeinated coffee fix provided by the world's strongest coffee brand, Death Wish Coffee.

We Wear Fair: Sustainable Fashion Networking with Stylist Rachael Wang

Come connect with the change-makers who are transforming the fashion industry for good. Hear from stylist Rachael Wang, Creative Director for We Wear Fair Trade, about the trends and forces that are re-shaping fashion through activism and advocacy. Learn about the Fair Trade Certified™ apparel program and join a speed networking session designed to spark thoughtful conversations about sustainability in fashion. Light snacks, drinks, and free chocolate truffle goodie bags from Alter Eco provided.

Take Time For Tea: A Virtual Trip to the Fields at the Source of Kroger's Simple Truth© Tea

Dive headfirst into the world of fair trade tea through this event that's steeped in experience. You will be transported to the Fair Trade Certified tea fields on the Sorwathe Tea Estate in Rwanda through a virtual reality experience, enjoy a complimentary tea leaf reading, and learn about tea culture, preparation and history through tons of free tastings. Light snacks, unlimited quality tea, games and merchandise giveaways also included.

Trick or Trade: Celebrating Halloween the Fair Trade Way

Come trick or treat and get some free sweets! You'll also learn about the positive impact of Fair Trade Certification for cocoa and sugar workers. Bring your best costume (optional, of course). Children and the young at heart welcome at this event. Featuring a Spooktacular Pumpkin Spice S’mores Giveaway by Chuao Chocolatier!
