Paola Mendoza is a film director, activist, author, and artist working at the leading edge of human rights. A co-founder of the Women’s March, Paola served as its Artistic Director and co-authored the New York Times bestseller Together We Rise: Behind the Scenes at the Protest Heard Around the World. Paola’s most recent book, Sanctuary, will be released by Penguin in 2020.

Pops of color, classy and sassy, mixed with my Colombian roots and my rebel spirit.

What are you passionate about?
I am an immigrant, and my worldview has always been shaped by my immigration to this country. I have had the honor to be surrounded by the unabashed hope, the fierce determination, and the audacious creativity of what it means to be an immigrant in this country. My passion is to ensure the next generation of immigrants get this and so much more!

Wearing fair trade clothing is equity in action. It is living my principles in my everyday life. At its core, it is a physical reminder that we are all connected on this lovely planet Earth.
